For Munchkin’s Easter morning tea, I created some little bunny ear cookies to sit on the rims of the little ladies babyccinos.
I used the gluten-free vanilla sugar cookie recipe I’d used for her birthday cookies, but you could make them using any sugar cookie recipe you like.
I had a cookie cutter, but I’ve been unable to find them online. They appear to no longer be available. So I’ve created a template you can print out and use to cut your own cookies (I recommend tracing it onto waxed/ baking paper so that your template doesn’t stick to your cookies).
This is my first project involving piping/ flooding of cookies with royal icing. It was fun and I’m reasonably happy with the result as a first go, but I want to do more and to learn more. For this I’ve signed up for a Craftsy class. I just need more time to practice!
And this is the result! What do you think? I propped the up on the rims of some little Weck jars that were just the right size for babyccinos.
